In order to hold your double occupancy room, a non-refundable deposit is required per person. The full balance is due 75 days before the start of the retreat, February 14th, 2020.

Retreat Terms & Conditions


A non-refundable deposit is required for your booking to be confirmed. This amount is applied to your total cost. If your booking is made within 75 days of the departure date (Feb. 14th, 2020) then the full balance is due at the time of registration.


Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a registration form/waiver and an invoice for the balance. Full payment is due 75 days prior to the start of the retreat. You may pay with a check (preferred) or credit card. Please note a fee of 3.5% will automatically be added to all credit card payments.


We must pay for the total accommodation cost in advance; therefore we must collect your full payment no later than 75 days in advance of the start of the retreat. If you do not pay in full in 75 days or more from retreat date, your reservation may be canceled and offered to the wait list if applicable.


If you cancel more than 75 days before the start of the retreat, monies received beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded (less any credit card fees, if applicable). If you cancel less than 75 days prior to the start of the yoga retreat, a refund of monies paid beyond the non-refundable deposit is only available if you can provide another client to fill your space, or if we are able to fill your spot via the wait list. Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy will apply, with no exceptions. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances, but we have costs already incurred when reserving accommodation, catering, etc. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. To insure yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.


We have never had to cancel a retreat, however, if we do cancel a trip due to not enough participants, we will refund to you all deposits and payments you have paid (less credit card fees). We cannot however compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. In the unlikely event that we must cancel a yoga retreat due to weather, natural disaster, war, political upheaval, or any other circumstances outside of our control, we cannot guarantee any refunds. To cover these risks, again, we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.


We strongly suggest that each trip member purchase individual travel insurance for their trip. It can be a minimal expense for the benefits it provides. We suggest that you include the “cancel for any reason” option and a policy that includes medical coverage. The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase trip insurance.

Travel insurance can protect you in case:

  • you cancel your participation in the yoga retreat

  • retreat is cancelled due to weather, natural disaster, political upheaval, war, or not enough participants to run the trip

  • lost or delayed baggage

  • medical expenses should you become ill or injured

TRAVELGUARD offers a variety of travel insurances, including the option for a comprehensive “cancel for any reason” policy. If you have to cancel your participation in the retreat, your airfare, hotel, retreat costs, etc. up until 48 hours prior to travel, are typically covered. There are plenty of other insurance companies, so please do research to find what meets your needs best. Please note, it is common with many companies that you must purchase the policy within 15 days of buying your airline tickets or incurring any costs for any part of your travel (like paying the deposit with us).
